Everyone has that room in their home that serves double duty. It’s either a playroom, office and an occasional guest room on demand. In my case, I’m imagining that my second bedroom can be a guest room and my home office.
I’m sharing a few awesome accessories that can help bring the vision together for your home office guest bedroom combo!

Likely, you already have the staple items like a bed, dresser or desk on display. You can then focus on finding a few items to help balance out the space.
In my home, I’m trying to create a vibe of an organized workspace nestled in a cozy room. Here is a list of some items that may go great in a guest bedroom and home office combo:
1. Wall Shelving
I love the look that simple wall shelves provide to showcase souvenirs and special mementos. Everyone is doing this color combo, but I just love this gold and white shelf unit! I also love this set and even this one! Too many choices!
2. Storage Jars
Okay, I had to add storage jars into this mix because these apothecary jars suckered me into it! They are gorgeous and give such aesthetic vibes. It’s the gold lids for me! You can use them as candy jars for your guests or to hold paper clips on your desk.
Honestly, I have NOT a clue of what I will put in them but I have plenty of paper clips that need a new home!
3. Ottoman
I think an ottoman with storage will be great for extra seating or to store work items within it. I also saw a different ottoman that turns into a twin bed! It can offer an extra sleeping arrangement for another guest. Or, you can take a nap on it instead of messing up your freshly made bed! Definitely a plus for me!
4. Mini Fridge
A mini fridge is a fab addition to any room! I love the traditional yet modern look of this one. You or your guests can readily have access to beverages in the room. It’s not big but it’s definitely convenient. In my mind, I see it eliminating my trips downstairs to grab a drink of water during my work day!
5. Greenery like plants or flowers
Plants give rooms a bit of personality and add some life. However, not all of us have green thumbs or the mind to water them daily. So, a great option is faux plants like these plastic succulents or mini potted plants.
