This post is all about God wants you to prosper.
When trouble keeps raising its head, it’s hard to make sense of it all. You’re doing everything right in life. You just keep wondering why God won’t let you catch a break and prosper. It’s easy to leave it there in defeat.
But, did you know that God wants you to prosper?
Yes! The bible has many passages that reflect God’s desire for us to prosper. But, there is one in particular that stands out the most.
God wants You to prosper:
Whenever I find myself feeling like everything is against me, I go to my favorite scripture (Jeremiah 29:11) that reminds me that God has plans for good in my life.
In Jeremiah 29:11 NIV, God says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
This is the truth and you can kick the enemy’s plan out of the picture! Since you know God wants to prosper you, you can walk in that truth and be confident in it.
Call on God and He Will Listen
In Jeremiah 29:12-13, God then says,” Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
This verse is also important because it places a soft pause for us to look to Him. Call on God, pray to Him and He will listen.
God has our back as we’re doing the work in this season of life.

Have Confident Faith in God
With confident faith in God’s word and leaning on Him, we know that He will prosper us throughout this journey.
One of my favorite movies is Faith Like Potatoes. Without giving away too much, it’s about a farmer who is having hard times and plants a crop without the promise of a harvest.
It’s an amazing story based on a true story about hardship, perseverance and faith. A nice one to add to your watch list for family movie night, too!
For me, It’s also a great reminder that faith without works is dead. When we are aligned with God’s will, we know we too can see a harvest from the work we’ve sown!
