Summer is fully here and so are all the essentials that make this a fun season. There’s nothing like enjoying life outdoors with family and friends. So, you always have to be on the lookout to kick your accessories and accents up a notch. While I was out shopping, I came across the cutest finds. In this post, I’m sharing some must-have summer items for those who love outdoor living!
By the way, you can get products like these at various stores and not just the ones I mention in this post. I actually saw variations of these products at other stores but sadly I didn’t remember to take photos to share.
Picnic Blankets
Picnic Blankets are another summertime essential. A beautiful day, delicious meals and a nice, comfortable blanket can really add to your enjoyment outdoors. July is also National Picnic month so enjoy it in style. Instead of grabbing a thin throw or spare sheet, you can add an actual picnic blanket to your basket.
At Walgreens, I came across some great finds, especially this water resistant picnic blanket (Photo below)! I also loved the different patterns and splashes of color. This would be a great addition for a quick picnic, a day at the beach or stretching out on the deck.
Garden Patio Lights
A summer favorite of mine is patio lights for the garden or patio. In my opinion, they are just as timeless as fairy lights. Patio lights are a great way to set the mood whether you’re in ‘wine and chill mode’ or having a full out party. I’ve seen them used as accents in sunrooms, dining rooms and even birthday parties.
Of course, I saw a set of Garden Party Lights at Walgreens (pictured above) and became smitten. It was an LED set of 10 lights with round bulbs. It really gives that timeless, vintage vibe!
Fake plants, Faux succulents, and summer floral pots
Faux plants or succulents are fan favorites in my home. But, they are also big winners when they’re in cute floral pots. You can add one to the kitchen for summer flair, set on your patio table or add some fun to your desk at work.
Walgreens had a pretty nice selection of fake plants and summer pots. I’ve also inserted a few of my faves below that I saw.
Mini Tote Bags
Mini Tote bags can be functional and fun especially with a cute pattern. You can take one along to a summer garden party, to the pool or the beach. They are actually a great accessory to use as a bag for work or to hold your brown bag lunch. I actually found cute totes with various patterns (photo below) for $5 each at Family Dollar.
So, that’s my list of must have summer items for those who love outdoor living. I hope this post sparks your creativity for your summer supply list as it did mine.
