I just wanted to drop a note to see how everyone is doing! The last few months have been crazy busy on my end. But, I’ve been taking it day by day and relying on my faith for sure. Since it’s a new month, here are some things that are on my October To Do List to reset for Fall.
My October To Do List: Fall Reset
Enjoy some Fall activities
The cooler weather has been amazing the last few days. It has a tinge of nostalgia to it, right? I didn’t plan ahead and forgot to make my caramel popcorn balls to welcome in Fall!
I definitely plan to go through my Fall Activity bucket list and grab an activity each weekend to get into this season. Check out this post for simple, cute bucket list for Fall activity ideas!
Buy a new study Bible
Over the last 13 years, my Bible has taken me through all of life’s ups and downs. The purple cover and thin pages have seen better days. Yet, I keep procrastinating on finding a new study Bible. This month, I am committing to researching and buying a new study Bible.
If you’re having a hard time moving on to a new Bible, I totally understand. All of the highlights, margin notes and underlined words can still be a resource to you even if you have a new Bible. That’s how I plan to use mine – as a continued resource.
At this point, I’m getting a bit excited about a new Bible because I can’t wait to write in it as I continue this journey in life. I’ll keep you posted on what I find soon and how the search is going!
Add salads to my meals
Let me say that I love salads. However, when I am starving, I do not like preparing even a side salad. It’s time to add some greens back into my meal plan so I’ve been reading up on some salad prep ideas.
There are some great ideas that even include preparing them in mason jars. I bought the cutest mason jars recently so I can’t wait to do salad prep with them!
I think this will help add at least one salad during the work day or at dinner into a meal plan. At least, I’m hopeful that it will.
So far, so good with the two jars I prepped yesterday. We will see. Stay Tuned!
Self-care as always
With the sun setting earlier, I’ve definitely felt the need to make my own self care a priority, too. Burn out is something I want to avoid at all costs.
But, how has your self-care been lately? If it’s lacking, it might be time to focus a bit more on taking some time to care for you.
Check out this post about Self care activities for a few ideas for your self care routine.
I hope you have a great month with some time to enjoy your own Fall reset. Each day find ways to renew your faith and take life day by day. You’re a blessing to the world and a gift from God.
Take care, my friend!
